Medibuntu -- Details of package libavcodec1d in hardy

This is the codec library from the ffmpeg project. It supports most existing encoding formats (MPEG, DivX, MPEG4, AC3, DV...).

This package contains a Debian-specific version of the libavcodec shared object that should only be used by Debian packages.

This package is built with the "risky" option, to enable mp3/mp4/h264/amr support. Therefore, it is in Medibuntu as it might violate patents.

This package isn't supported by Ubuntu: DON'T REPORT BUGS TO UBUNTU!
